生活創造工藝，工藝成就生活，在我們周遭所接觸到的工藝，透過生活的風景、在地的故事、還有人情的溫度，構築成一處擬人化的工藝所在，宛如住在隔壁的工藝家，只要對生活敲敲門，就能夠輕鬆探訪鄰近的工藝之美。
「隔壁的工藝家－臺日地方工藝國際交流展」形塑社區產業特色，透過農村培力方案扶植地方工藝師的傳承與培訓，藉由社區產業方案協助人們開發地方特色工藝產品，創造地方經濟產值並達到在地創生之目標，展覽將從人文歷史與環境中探索生活與工藝的發展脈絡，以生活為起點發現記憶與技藝傳承之必要，以地景興衰陳述工藝產業的繼往開來。工藝就像是臺灣最美麗的風景，滿滿的人情味和款待好客的心，歡迎光臨我的工藝家。
The life creates craft, craft makes the life, and the craft that we are exposed to around us through the scenery of life, the local stories and the warmth of humanity to form an anthropomorphic craft such as a craftsman living next door. As long as knocking on the door to life, you can easily explore the neighboring of beauty craft.
“ Behind the craft - Taiwan and Japan Local Craft International Exchange Exhibition” shapes the features of community enterprises to foster local craftsmen’s inheritance and training with rural training programs. However, we expect to create local economic output value and achieve the goal of creating a local prosperity. The exhibition will explore the life and craft development from environment and humanities history to follow prosperity and decline of landscape to describe craft industry. The craft can be symbolized as the most beautiful scenery in Taiwan with full humanity and hospitality, and welcome to my home of craft.
